Join us this October to build open‑source memory for AI agents
What is Hacktoberfest
Hacktoberfest is an annual month-long event that celebrates the spirit of open source. Every October, developers across the globe contribute code, fix bugs, write documentation, and share ideas across thousands of projects. In 2024, nearly 150,000 participants joined the event — all working toward one shared goal: making the open source ecosystem stronger, more creative, and more connected.
Why memU is Joining
memU was created to bring long‑term memory capabilities to AI agents, making them smarter and more useful for developers and users alike. Since our launch, the open‑source community has helped memU grow and improve in so many ways — we’re truly grateful for that. Hacktoberfest lets us open that process to more people and share the excitement of building together.
If you care about AI infrastructure, agent memory, or just enjoy helping others with tools they can rely on, we would love to have you involved. Hacktoberfest is our chance to open that collaboration to even more people and celebrate the collective creativity that powers open source.
